Last soccer game of the season, and Keaton played amazingly! Unfortunately his team lost. It was not a good day to be a soccer fan for us today as Manchester United lost the Champion's League Final, and then our local MLS team Real Salt Lake lost their first home game in over 2 years. There is always the next game!

FIELD DAY!! We are almost done with the school year! Yes!! At the end of the day, a firetruck came to the school to spray them with water from the fire hose. It was freezing!

Sorry for the bad picture, but the story behind this picture will more than compensate for the grainy image. Here Kevin and I were enjoying a nice lunch at Tuscany when this threesome walked in. You know the type I am talking about when one of them has to be loud and obviously in charge. The server walks up to the table, and the guy on the left asks the question to end all questions. "Excuse me, the prosciutto di melon is actually ham with what?" I almost snorted my drink through my nose I was laughing so hard. Even better, the server answered with the most serious of facial expressions "Melon". Kevin and I laughed so hard for the rest of the day. Most people would have guessed the melon portion of the appetizer correctly. My oh my, people make me laugh!

Since I had already posted a picture for day 142, I decided to save this one for today. Haley graduated from seminary yesterday! So exciting, and the first of many fun senior events this month. Way to go Haley!

Manchester United Barclays Premier League Champions!! We love this team, and watching a game every week from September to May is one of our absolutely favorite things to do! Someday Kevin and I are going to be sitting in Old Trafford watching a game live:) Glory, Glory Man United!!

My boys:) Kevin coached Keaton's soccer team again this year, and had a blast spending that time with him. Soccer is in their blood!

I absolutely love my iPad! I use it as an e-reader with the Barnes and Noble and iBook apps, and use it for email and Facebook. Lots of fun games, movies and music. I honestly don't know what I would do without it. I use it daily. Thanks Kevin for an amazing birthday present!

Day 138

The internet is a wonderful thing. Just when I can't think of anything to make for dinner, I find something that looks really good:) Came across this beautiful soup recipe today, and since it is a wet and miserable day, soup was the perfect thing. Onions, garlic, mushrooms, carrots, asparagus and chicken. Yum!!!

Day 137

Tonight was the second grade program and I have to admit that Keaton stole the show. In one of the songs, he did a little head bop with the actions which was so cute and funny. All of the parents sitting by us were laughing at how entertaining it was. So incredibly cute! Afterwards when I was telling him how much I had enjoyed it, he told me that his teacher had told him that we would be mad and embarrassed by the little action. Luckily we have only 2 1/2 weeks left with that teacher! You are one darling little man with tons of personality Keaton!

I was so excited to see actual blooms on my lilac bush this year. After 5 years I had given up on it ever blooming!

This reception center in American Fork is actually an old converted LDS church. I found out the other day that this is the building in which Kevin's mom and dad had their wedding reception years and years ago.

One of our favorite things to do when eating at Pei Wei is to grab a handful of fortune cookie, and then decide after eating the cookies which fortune we want to keep. We have had a lot of great fortunes!

We had a really busy but fun day today! Keaton played in his soccer game, and then Kevin and I took him to the Real Salt Lake game. They missed the Father's and son's activity because of the sisters dance recital so this game was a payback:) After the game we hurried back home just in time to attend the girls end of year dance recital. What a bittersweet night as it was Haley's last time dancing with the Hi-Light girls. They did a great job, and unfortunately my camera died before I could get a shot with the two of them together.

My boy absolutely loves cub scouts! They had pack meeting tonight, and Keaton won a couple of awards. Since we missed the first pack meeting after his birthday, he was presented tonight with his bandana a slide. He also got his face painted. He thinks that this is the most awesome group he has ever been associated with!

I will never take a free running kitchen sink drain for granted again! We had a major clog today from cooked pasta that would not free up for any thing. We finally had to bring in the hose from outside to blow it away:) My sink draineth freely!

Day 121

What started out as a plan for "Chicken with 40 cloves of garlic", ended up as "Chicken with 4 cloves of garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chicken broth, white wine and a couple of tablespoons of Cognac". Simply fabulous! Have I mentioned how much I love Sundays?
