As we were driving to do some black friday shopping, Gabrielle pointed out that these palm trees were in the shape of a heart. How sweet is she?

Happy Thanksgiving! This is the beautiful sunrise we had as we were driving to St. George this morning. And this is a picture of my starving boy waiting ever so patiently for Thanksgiving dinner to start:) I am so thankful for my beautiful family today!

Today Lone Peak played in the state football championship football game and WON! Cassidy and her friends bought tickets to the game but the tickets for the spirit buses were sold out. Kevin and I offered to drive them up to Rice Eccles Stadium at the University of Utah and then pick them back up again at the end of the game. We went to lunch and then walked around the Gateway Mall until the game was over. They were so excited! Good job Lone Peak!

Cassidy, Haley, Shad and I attended the midnight showing of "Breaking Dawn" tonight. It has been a girls tradition to see these movies together:) One more in one years time!

I am officially Kevin's favorite person today as I learned how to make Naan bread. What is Naan bread? It is an eastern Indian flatbread that he has been raving about and buying at the store since he returned from Australia 18 months ago. I found the recipe online and decided to try it as the base for Navajo tacos. Success!

I went to the store today to buy eggs so that I could make cookies as a treat for Cub Scouts, and walked by these pumpkin cake donuts. No need to make cookies now. These things are so good!

Keaton was so excited to go outside and play in the skiff of snow on the lawn this morning. He is truly a January baby! He decided that the driveway needed to be cleared (once again only a skiff), and he pulled out our big snow shovel. Running down the driveway having the time of his life, the shovel hit a divot in the cement and came to a sudden halt. Unfortunately, Keaton's front tooth came into contact with the handle and chipped :( I wish that I could redo the moment that he told me about it. I would have been much kinder the second time. Poor kid!

We drive by this condo complex every time we go to La Hacienda to eat, and each time we drive by this little lake it is covered with tons of geese. It won't be long now before they head south for the winter.

Today Keaton started Futsal! He was so excited to be playing soccer again, and this is going to be so good for his foot skills:) He also got some awesome new futsal cleats:)

The ultimate in comfort food. Homemade chicken noodle soup! My family's all time favorite food, as it was mine growing up. I got the recipe from my mom who got it from her mom who probably got it from her mother!
