I had decided that I wasn't going to spend the money on flowers this year for our front step and patio. I went to Smith's today and could not help myself. What can I say, flowers just make me happy:)

We held Friday Fun a day early today, and went to see the movie "Kung Fu Panda 2". While there, I could not help but be so excited for the midnight showing of "Harry Potter 7" that I bought tickets for! So excited!

Cassidy and Haley are going on a picnic with a friend, and decided that they needed to make something to take to go with their picnic lunch. They hand dipped strawberries. They look beautiful")

I have waited a whole month for this book to come out! The conclusion to "The Bronze Horseman". I am so excited to start it today!!

The kids talked me into taking them to the pet store to look at puppies. Lucky for me, there were no cocker spaniel puppies to tempt me. This little guy was kind of cute though:)

Father's Day! My kids have the most amazing father. He is kind, loving, supportive and fun. He works hard for all of us, and frankly deserves to be honored more times throughout the year. For his dessert, he chose a lemon bundt cake for Cassidy to make for him. Pretty much delicious!

Today we visited the Highland City Library for the first time, and received our very own library cards. Unfortunately I think that our home library could rival the city's library! Keaton and Gabrielle were impressed that we could go check out books for FREE!

We were at BYU today to watch Christian play in a basketball camp, and as we were walking back to our car we noticed that the soccer field gate was open. Keaton loves and lives for soccer!

Shelly and I went shopping with the girls today at South Towne mall, and decided on the way home to go up and over Suncrest. Shelly had not seen the new Draper temple, and unfortunately the picture quality isn't great but still pretty.

I showed this peony bush yesterday to my family who is in town when it was just buds, and today they are all in bloom. Hopefully they will last a little longer this year, and that we will not have any hard winds to knock all the petals off the flowers!

Gabrielle's study of the Renaissance entailed them making their own coat of arms shield and knight helmet. She makes a pretty cute knight!
