Day 118

Today we are in mourning for our Real Salt Lake soccer team:( They played last night in the Confacap Champion's League Final at Rio Tinto stadium. They played really well for most of the game, yet could not pull of a goal. We are still fans for life, and enjoyed the game!

This sight should make my kids smile. The horses are back! My kids like to walk down and feed these horses sugar cubes.

Beautiful spring day in downtown Provo. I met Kevin for lunch, and was amazed at how beautiful the trees are. Kevin told me before I even got there that this would be my picture of the day. Absolutely beautiful!

One regret that I have from my trip to Italy was not buying more pottery. When we were in Mexico I wasn't going to make that mistake again. One piece that caught my eye was this oval bowl that I just knew would be perfect for holding lemons. I was right!

CABO SAN LUCAS!! 2nd day:) While we were at the flea market shopping, someone had caught a shark while out fishing so of course Keats wanted to see it. We are loving Cabo!

Puerto Vallarta! We decided to go back to the same resort that we went to last year called Velas Vallarta, and it was such a great decision. We had a great time, great food and great company!

CABO SAN LUCAS!!! We took a water taxi out to Lover's Beach, and the driver took us around to the Pacific side of the rock formations. Christmas card picture perhaps?

We had breakfast at the La Brea bakery outside of Disneyland, then headed to Long Beach to board the ship for our Spring Break cruise!! I am never going to want to go home!

Day 99

When we arrived yesterday afternoon in Anaheim, we went to California Adventure for the remaining hours that the park was open. Today we went to Disneyland. I have wanted to take Keaton there for a couple of years, and he is at the perfect age because we can ride all of the rides together! We all had a blast!

After spending the night at my mom and dad's house, we are officially on our way to California!

So tonight was the Pinewood Derby. You have all heard my feelings on the matter of scouts, but I do have to say that this was a pretty fun night! All of the boys were so excited to be there and to race their cars. Some of the cars were pretty ornate, and some of them were plain. Keaton's was frankly quite plain, but fast! He ended up winning first place, and was pretty happy about it. The scout leader did a fantastic job making all of the boys feel as though they had won the whole thing. Each boy got an award and a trophy car stand. Congrats Keaton and Kevin!
